For Singles

Being Single in the 21st Century

Everyone I have spoken to, including singles typically in their 30’s and 40’s, recognise it can be difficult to be single and sometimes to be honest about wanting to find a partner. There are many socially acceptable ideas about it and judgments (sub conscious and conscious) made towards single people.

It’s hard to know what ‘the rules’ are today. Should you date? Should you be proactive? Or should you wait for ‘destiny’ to bring the right person along. What are the roles for men and for women? For the first time in history there really is little we can learn from our parents, as they come from a generation where everything was different. With so many choices and options in our society today, it’s hard enough deciding on which car to buy or which brand of cereal. Sadly, many people actually spend more time deciding on these things and shopping for them than actually what their life purpose is and which type of partner they would most want. A little effort and focus on your life goals can make a very big difference in the outcome of your future.
